Our story
Founded in a studio apartment. Knitted for people who run their own show.
Our founder lived alone in a drafty studio, and every morning started the same way: cold floor, lost socks, zero fanfare. So she made a pair worth standing in — organic cotton, reinforced heel, and a stripe of yellow loud enough to feel like a trophy ceremony.
Friends asked for pairs. Then strangers did. Soft Whistle Project was born with one belief: living alone isn't a small life — it's a whole stadium with a crowd of one. Everything we knit is for that crowd.
Today we run a small-batch studio with a 48-hour promise: order today, knit tomorrow, doorstep the day after. No warehouses, no waste, no lost socks.
The record
Founded in a 32m² studio with one knitting machine and a very cold floor.
Switched to organic cotton + recycled yarn and plastic-free mailers.
Crossed six figures and started doorstep delivery in 14 countries.
Published our full sustainability charter — fiber by fiber, seam by seam.
48-hour turnaround, worldwide shipping, and a community of solo winners.
What we stand on
We design for Tuesday mornings, not highlight reels. Comfort is the trophy.
Organic fibers, recycled blends, plant dyes, compostable mailers.
Small batches and a 48-hour promise keep quality high and waste at zero.
Every order is packed like a medal presentation. Because it is one.
Sustainability report
We publish our fiber mix every season. No greenwashing, no asterisks — just the score so far, and where we're headed next.
The squad
"A sock is the first thing you put on and the last thing between you and a cold floor. It should feel like a trophy."
